Editorial policy
Sourcing
Every newsroom story lists at least two public sources with links. Primary sources preferred: company filings and releases, exchange data, central-bank and government releases, and major newswires.
Fact checks
Before publish, every number in the story body must appear in or be clearly traceable to a source note. The publish tool blocks stories that fail that check.
AI-assisted writing
Drafts may be AI-assisted. A human review step checks claims and numbers against the source list. We do not invent quotes or attribute affiliation we do not have.
Independence
AP's Morning Brief is independent. We do not claim affiliation with Bloomberg, Benzinga, or other newsrooms. Sponsored or affiliate content, if any, is labeled.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it and note the change on the corrections page. Email material errors via contact.
